Focus Infinity is founded by Mathew P John, who considers himself a “global citizen.” Originally an electrical engineer from India, Mathew started his corporate career with the international consultancy division of Electricite De France and worked with multinational corporations in the East (India), Middle East (Kuwait), and the West (Canada) for nearly a decade. He then made a life-altering transition from ‘technology to theology’ with a Master’s degree in Theological Studies at the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological seminary. He acquired over twenty years of research and teaching experience in ecclesiastical and academic platforms, including the American Anthropological Association, UCLA center for Religion, etc.

Mathew is a devout Christian who also recognizes the value of both secular and sacred wisdom traditions. He is the creator of The Mosaic Course, an online learning platform widely used in churches and university campuses worldwide as a tool for intercultural engagement. As an avid storyteller and an alumnus of UCLA School of Theater and Film, Mathew also works with many industry professionals in Hollywood. He is the author of Film as Cultural Artifact: Religious Criticism of World Cinema (Fortress Press, 2018), The Unknown God: A Journey with Jesus from East to West (David C Cook, 2020), and a contributing author to God in the Movies (Branzo, 2018)
